Ongoing Expressions of Interest

From time to time, temporary roles for Access Facilitators and Lodgement Officers become available within the Access team. These roles can be for 3 months up to 12 months.

Your skills and capabilities 

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to manage effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communications skill and a demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and delivering quality outcomes within the required timeframes.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem solving and evaluation skills and the ability to apply sound judgement to decision making.

Your qualifications and experience

Essential to the Role:

  • Customer service experience in a commercial organisation.

Highly desirable:

  • Heavy vehicles and/or road transport industry knowledge; and,
  • Demonstration of, or the ability to rapidly acquire, a sound working knowledge of the relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.    

About the team

The Access division is responsible for facilitating the permit application process and delivering innovative outcomes for all of our stakeholders. The primary functions of the division will be complemented by expertise in road infrastructure and demand management. 

Expression of Interest – Access Facilitator (Temporary)

The role forms part of the Access team within the Access business unit and is focused on the key responsibilities and accountabilities below:

  • Review and progress permit applications in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Provide specialised and detailed advice to customers in regard to the application process, vehicle standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Deliver exceptional customer orientated service to all external and internal stakeholders and customers. 
  • Ensure confidential information is handled and dealt with in accordance with the relevant legislated and/or corporate policy requirements. 
  • Assist in the implementation and refinement of process improvements and innovative demand management strategies.

Expression of Interest – Lodgement Officer (Temporary)

The role forms part of the Access team within the Access business unit and is focused on the key responsibilities and accountabilities below:

  • Review and assign applications for access processing
  • Deliver tasks and activities individually or as a team member, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines within quality, cost and time constraints to ensure the effective delivery of heavy vehicle operational policy outcomes
  • Deliver end to end customer services in line with defined guidelines, including access application status updates and outcomes
  • Contribute to team performance and process improvement initiatives
