Fatigue safety campaigns

Christmas 2020

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but it can also be the most dangerous on the roads. As a reminder of the importance of letting your body rest and recharge this festive season, we are going to #FocusOnFatigue in the lead up to the Christmas. Please download and share on your social channels – spread the message to your community!

Let’s talk fatigue this National Road Safety Week

As part of National Road Safety Week, we talked about fatigue and highlighted solutions for the future. People could get involved in what the NHVR was doing through our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.

See below for the messages we shared/posted during the week.

Focus on Fatigue 2019

Heavy vehicle drivers are being urged to Focus on Fatigue in the lead-up to the busy Easter period.

The NHVR will use online messages and videos of drivers, such as Rod Hannifey and Bruce Dodds, sharing their personal experiences and advice to encourage other drivers to avoid the risks of driving tired.

Find out more about fatigue management and if you feel pressured to drive while fatigued call the Heavy Vehicle Confidential Reporting Hotline.
