MegaTrans 2026

NHVR will be in attendance at MegaTrans 2026 and will have NHVR Operations staff and Stakeholder Engagement Officers available both days. 

NHVR Stakeholder Engagement Officer Gerald will be in attendance at The VTA Alternate Fuel Summit 2026, which will be held at MegaTrans 2026 on the second day, Thursday the 17th of September - Register here. 

Alternative Fuel Summit 2026, presented by the Victorian Transport Association, and supported by CMV Truck & Bus and Viva Energy Australia as part of MegaTrans 2026, focuses on practical pathways to decarbonising freight transport. Bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, fleet operators, technology providers and sustainability experts, the summit will explore how the freight sector can transition to low- and zero-emission transport solutions.

Discussion topics include vehicle electrification, hydrogen-powered transport, sustainable biofuels and other emerging technologies that are reshaping the future of freight mobility. Attendees will gain insights into the investments, infrastructure requirements and strategic partnerships needed to support industry-wide adoption of alternative fuels. The event will examine opportunities to strengthen supply chain resilience while reducing carbon emissions and improving operational efficiency.
