The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) is committed to providing members of the public with open and transparent access to information about our services and activities. Section 696 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) applies the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) ("the RTI Act") and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) ("the Privacy Act") to the NHVR.
Our publication scheme describes and categorises the information that is routinely available and accessible through our website. However, if you have been unable to obtain access to information through our publication scheme or by talking to us, you may wish to request information under a Right to Information (RTI) or Information Privacy (IP) request.
You can access non-personal information through an RTI request or personal information through an IP request. The information will be released to you provided its disclosure would not, on balance, be contrary to the public interest.
