Statement of condolence for Nick Dimopoulos

The Board and staff of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) would like to pass on their condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late Nick Dimopoulos, Chief Executive of the National Transport Commission, who passed away on 8 February 2013.

“On behalf of the NHVR, I would like to pay tribute to Nick, a leading figure in transport reform and someone who was closely involved with the establishment of not only the NHVR, but also the national rail safety and maritime safety regulators,” said Bruce Baird, Chair of the NHVR Board.

“Our thoughts are with Nick’s family and his colleagues at the National Transport Commission at this time.”
