New South Wales and Victoria Class 3 Long Livestock Semitrailer Deck Length Exemption Notice 2024 (No.1)

Exempts semitrailers used to carry livestock from the limit on the deck length available for the carriage of animals stated in section 4(6) of Schedule 6 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation.

Tasmania and Victoria Class 3 Baled Hay Dimension Exemption Notice 2025 (No.1)

Exempts Class 3 baled hay heavy vehicles from the width limit in section 7(1), and the height limit in section 8(d), of Schedule 6 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation.

Victoria Class 1 4-Axle & 5-Axle All Terrain Mobile Crane Mass and Dimension Exemption Notice 2026 (No.1)

Exempts the stated Class 1 heavy vehicles from the prescribed mass and dimension requirements specified in the Notice, subject to conditions.

Exempts 2-axle buses operating in Victoria manufactured before a certain date from compliance with certain prescribed mass requirements.

Victoria Class 3 Grain Harvest Management Scheme Mass Exemption Notice 2022 (No.1)

Exempts a heavy vehicle from prescribed mass requirements as part of the Victorian Grain Harvest Management Scheme (GHMS).

Victoria Class 3 Livestock Carrier Mass Exemption Notice 2024 (No.1)

Exempts livestock carriers from certain mass requirements.

This Notice revokes and replaces the previously published Victoria Class 3 Heavy Vehicle Livestock Carrier Mass Exemption Notice 2020 (No.1), and Victoria Class 3 Carrier (Goats) Mass Exemption Notice 2020 (No.1).

Grants exemptions from dimension requirements for a Class 3 heavy vehicle that is a rear loading vehicle used for waste collection. 

Victoria Class 3 Road Friendly Suspension Mass Exemption Notice 2026 (No.1)

Exempts certain heavy vehicles fitted with certified road friendly suspension from mass requirements set out in the Heavy Vehicle (Mass Dimension and Loading) National Regulation.

Victoria Class 3 Twinsteer Prime Mover and Semitrailer Combination Mass Exemption Notice 2026 (No.1)

Allows twinsteer prime movers to operate at HML, but restricts twinsteer axle group mass to 10.5t.
