What do I do if the weighbridge sign is closed?

If the signs are displaying CLOSED, then the vehicles should continue along the main highway and not enter the screening lanes as the safety stations are closed. If the signs are displaying OPEN, then the vehicles must enter the screen lanes to be screened then follow the message displayed on the directional message boards within the screening lanes. Please always follow any signage displayed

What do I do if you miss the entry for a Heavy Vehicle Safety Station?

If you miss the entrance to the safety station, never reverse on the highway and attempt to re-enter the station. Reversing the vehicle along the highway poses an extreme safety risk to yourself and other road users. Instead, proceed to the next safe exit and return within a reasonable time to comply with the sign at the safety station that was missed.
