Exempts Class 1 heavy vehicle combinations consisting of a prime mover and approved trailers, including dollies if required, from certain mass and dimension requirements under the HVNL. In addition, this notice exempts certain specialist vehicles such as block trucks that are used to assist the operation of Class 1 combinations.

New South Wales Class 3 Livestock Tri-axle Group Mass Limit Exemption Notice 2024 (No.1)

Exempts the stated categories of Class 3 heavy vehicles transporting livestock from the mass limit for a tri-axle group with single tyres with section widths of at least 375mm, or dual tyres, in Table 1 (Axle mass limits table) of Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation, subject to certain conditions.

This Notice has replaced the New South Wales Class 3 Heavy Vehicle Livestock Tri-Axle Group Mass Limit Exemption Notice 2019 (No. 1).
