NHVR Statement - Blenners Transport

National Heavy Vehicle Regulator officers are currently assessing a range of information provided by Blenners Transport in relation to a two-vehicle crash on the Kennedy Highway, near Mareeba in Far North Queensland on Thursday, September 13.

The information was requested from Blenners Transport in the days following the crash and the company has been cooperative in responding to these requests.

The NHVR’s enquiries relate to Chain of Responsibility requirements under the Heavy Vehicle National Law.

The NHVR’s enquiries are in addition to Queensland Police Service Forensic Crash Unit investigations which are continuing.
