NHVR thanks outgoing Transport Certification Australia boss

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) has thanked outgoing Transport Certification Australia (TCA) CEO Chris Koniditsiotis for his service and efforts in delivering heavy vehicle telematics and intelligent technologies.

NHVR CEO Sal Petroccitto said Mr Koniditsiotis had made a significant contribution to the heavy vehicle industry since he led the establishment of TCA in 2005.

“Chris has played a crucial role in the emergence of intelligent transport technologies for more than a decade, particularly in building the knowledge and scope of telematics use across the heavy vehicle fleet,” Mr Petroccitto said.

“I thank him for his efforts to engage with myself and the staff of the NHVR on a wide range of initiatives and I wish him all the best for the next chapter of his career.”

Mr Koniditsiotis announced he is retiring from his position at TCA, to be effective from 1 March 2019.
