The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) has welcomed the appointment of Mathew Munro to CEO of the Australian Trucking Association (ATA).
NHVR Chief Executive Officer Sal Petroccitto said he welcomes Mr Munro as the incoming ATA CEO and the work he has done in his current role as the Executive Director of the Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association.
“Together with the NHVR Board and staff, we look forward to continuing our proactive working partnership with Mr Munro, ATA Chair David Smith and ATA staff in driving safety and productivity outcomes for the heavy vehicle supply chain across the country,” Mr Petroccitto said.
“I wish outgoing ATA CEO Michael Deegan all the best in retirement and thank him for his extensive contribution to the heavy vehicle industry.
“I would like to thank Mr Deegan for his dedication and commitment to driving positive and practical outcomes for the heavy vehicle industry and for the collaboration and partnership he maintained with the NHVR.”
