Amendment to the National Class 2 Performance Based Standards (High Productivity) Authorisation Notice

The NHVR, in collaboration with Victoria's Department of Transport and Planning (DTP), has implemented a comprehensive reclassification of all Victorian networks under the National Class 2 Performance Based Standards (High Productivity) Authorisation Notice 2024 (No.1) (Notice).

Amendments to the New South Wales Schedule to the notice have upgraded the telematic requirements for PBS vehicles. PBS vehicles at GML, CML or QML 1 – Tier 3 mass limits must comply with either approved intelligent transport systems - Intelligent Access Program or Telematics Monitoring Application.
