NHVR announces return of What’s Your 20? podcast for a second season

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) is encouraging drivers to add a quick sound check to their pre-drive checklist ahead of the new season of the What’s Your 20? podcast.

Refuelled and ready for their return to the mic, the podcast welcomes back hosts Rob and Sarah for its second season, launching in May this year.

NHVR Executive Director Michelle Tayler said the new episodes would see the podcast delve deeper into the industries that keep Australia moving.

“What’s Your 20? is returning to explore new topics, such as the changes to the Heavy Vehicle National Law, mental health, fatigue and dangerous goods, Ms Tayler said.

“While Season 2 will feature fresh voices and different discussions, the podcast promises to keep in its lane and focus on the lighter side of heavy vehicles.”

Much like its pilot season, What’s Your 20? will include stories from the road, truck trivia, interviews with subject matter experts and updates from across the regulatory space.

With decades of industry experience between them, hosts Rob and Sarah said they were thrilled to announce the podcast’s return after a successful debut season.

“As two experienced drivers ourselves, it’s fantastic to get behind the microphone again and unpack some of the conversations happening across industry,” Sarah said.

“This is a podcast driven by two people enthusiastic about trucks, for listeners who share our same passion and curiosity.

“Being a truck driver often means having limited time, so we hope this new season provides a fun and convenient way to stay informed and hear directly from the heavy vehicle industry about the issues that matter most to them.”

The new season of What's Your 20? will begin dropping episodes from May 2026, available via all major podcast platforms.
