Heavy vehicle operators will have access to their fleet’s registration details on one dedicated web-based platform from tomorrow.
NHVR CEO Sal Petroccitto said the NHVR’s new Registration Services module on the NHVR Portal would allow operators to access details of all the vehicles in their registered fleet.
“Heavy vehicle registration details from all Australian states and territories, except the Northern Territory, are now available on the NHVR Portal,” Mr Petroccitto said.
“This is a free service which will allow operators to confirm details recorded with transport authorities, check registration transfers and changes, and download or print vehicle records to provide to other parties in their supply chain.
“We’ve also released a series of videos to assist operators to use the Registration Services module.”
The NHVR Portal was established in 2016 to allow heavy vehicle operators to process permit applications on line.
Registration Services is the third module added to the NHVR Portal, after the Customer module and Road Manager module.
Operators can access their information on the Registration Services module through an existing portal account or they can create an account at www.service.nhvr.gov.au
The portal provides read-only information, and any changes to registration information details should be directed through the relevant state or territory authority.
