Crane Demo Day
The NHVR supported the recent Crane Industry Council of Australia’s Crane Demo Day held at Liebherr Australia Erskine Park, NSW on June 19. NHVR would like to thank both Liebherr and the Crane Council of Australia for organising the event.
Road managers were given the opportunity to see how a crane performs on the network, learn about crane operations and understand how to best manage road access to support local communities.
NHVR is currently working with RMS and NSW road managers on the development of two new crane notices and a review of the access arrangements for the current National Special Purpose Vehicle Notice to assist industry and reduce the administrative burden on road managers.
