HVNL Review update

The NHVR recently met with a group of industry associations, government representatives and the Australian Local Government Association to discuss key issues on the Heavy Vehicle National Law Review.

NHVR Corporate Affairs Executive Director Joe Fitzgerald said the Review, being conducted by the National Transport Commission (NTC) was an important opportunity to continue to reform heavy vehicle safety and productivity.

“The highlight of the day was an opportunity to speak to a panel of experts, which included the Expert Panel Chair Peter Harris, Jurisdictional Strategic Oversight Panel Chair Natalie Pelham, the NTC’s Paul Davies and Victorian Transport Association CEO Peter Anderson.”

“The NTC has now released the issues paper relating to access Easy access to suitable routes, with feedback open until 16 August 2019.”
