Extend your accreditation
You can apply for an extension of your accreditation for up to 12 months. An extension can only extend your accreditation to a maximum of 3 years from the date the accreditation period commenced.
The application for extension needs to be submitted before your accreditation expires.

Exiting accreditation

Reapply after expiry
Expired for less than 3 months
If your application to maintain accreditation is submitted within 3 months of the expiry date, then you will be able to maintain your current accreditation. However, you are not eligible to receive any benefits from the scheme until your application has been assessed and approved.
Expired for more than 3 months
You will need to submit an 'Establish Accreditation' application, including a completed entry audit.
Reapply after refusal
If you have had an application for accreditation refused, upon re-application, you must be able to demonstrate appropriate performance and compliance with the HVNL since your refusal.
Reapplying after cancellation
If you have had your accreditation cancelled, re-entry to the HVA scheme will be dependent on why your accreditation was cancelled.
